Intern, CETP – Benelux Investing Strategy

The Carlyle Group is looking for an intern to join their Europe Technology Partners team in London for a 6-month period. This role will allow you to dive into the world of private equity, working on deal origination, execution, and portfolio management. You’ll collaborate with a team of investment professionals and gain valuable insights into the investment process while supporting activities in the Benelux region.

What You’ll Do

• Help with deal sourcing and company research for the Benelux region.
• Conduct primary research and financial analyses for due diligence.
• Assist in preparing investment memos and financial models.
• Support portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives.

What You Need

• Strong academic record from a leading educational institution.
• Previous internship experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch or Flemish is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• High curiosity to understand different companies and industries.
• Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
