Intern, Investment Associate – Energy Investing

Gore Street Capital is looking for an enthusiastic Investment Associate Intern to join their team for six months, with the potential for a permanent role. This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in the investment process, focusing on pipeline deals and asset valuation. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values diversity and is committed to sustainability in the energy sector.

What You’ll Do

• Support the investment team with data and analysis for pipeline deals
• Help construct valuation models for assets
• Engage with auditors and external valuers
• Review management accounts and manage cash flows
• Stay informed on market activity in energy storage
• Create presentations summarizing investment opportunities

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
• In process for ACA qualification is a plus
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in accounting and cash flow/valuation models
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Big 4, investment banking, or financial advisory services
