Intern, Investment Management

NeXtWind is looking for an Investment Intern to join their team in Berlin. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making within the renewable energy sector. As an intern, you’ll support various investment processes and contribute to the growth of the company while working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support the investment and operational teams in executing M&A transactions.
• Conduct market research and analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
• Help prepare and maintain financial models for valuation.
• Assist in preparing reports for private equity investors.
• Contribute to identifying and executing value-creation opportunities.

What You Need

• Current Master’s student or advanced Bachelor’s student in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior internships or practical experiences in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Infrastructure Investments, or Management Consulting.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial modeling and valuation.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Permission to work in Germany.
