Intern, Private Equity Investing

AEM Unternehmerkapital GmbH is looking for an intern in their Private Equity team in Munich. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to dive deep into the investment process, from analyzing potential investments to supporting portfolio companies. You’ll gain hands-on experience and insights into the Private Equity world while working closely with a dedicated team.

What You’ll Do

• Support the team throughout the entire investment process of medium-sized Private Equity transactions
• Help model investment scenarios and company valuations
• Conduct independent quantitative and qualitative analyses during due diligence
• Evaluate the company portfolio regarding operational and financial aspects
• Assist in the operational development of portfolio companies, including limited travel if necessary

What You Need

• Student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Business Engineering, or similar fields
• Some practical experience in Private Equity, Corporate Finance, M&A, or consulting
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• Ability to understand economic and technical contexts quickly
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
