Intern, Ventures Investing

MongoDB is looking for a Ventures Intern to join their team in San Francisco. This role is perfect for someone passionate about software infrastructure and startups. You’ll work closely with investors, help evaluate exciting new companies, and gain valuable experience in the venture capital space. By the end of the internship, you’ll have the chance to publish your insights and contribute to meaningful projects.

What You’ll Do

• Work alongside investors to evaluate new startups.
• Shadow calls and assist with sourcing new opportunities.
• Write memos and help build investment theses.
• Publish a piece on MongoDB’s Substack by the end of the internship.

What You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of software infrastructure.
• Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or ventures.
• At least one quarter/semester remaining in studies after the internship.
• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
