Investment Associate, Private Credit

Stormfield Capital is looking for an entry-level Investment Associate to join their team in Southport, CT. In this role, you’ll be involved in sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments, focusing on private credit strategies. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the finance industry while working with a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

• Work on multiple transactions at various stages of the investment process.
• Educate borrowers and brokers about loan programs.
• Provide top-notch service to borrowers and intermediaries.
• Participate in underwriting and execution of direct lending investments.
• Research and analyze transactions for risk and creditworthiness.
• Create and update financial models for transactions.
• Generate materials for Investment Committee and participate in the process.
• Assist in legal documentation and draft investment term sheets.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, investment banking, or relevant investment experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Collegial and transparent with a high level of integrity.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
