Investment Director, Venture Capital

Voy Ventures is looking for an Investment Director to join their corporate venture capital team. This role is perfect for someone with a blend of strategic thinking and executional ability, especially if you have experience in venture investing or corporate development. You’ll be working closely with startups and corporate partners, particularly in Japan, and will have the chance to shape the future of their investment strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Help shape the corporate venture capital strategy and investment theses.
• Support partnerships between startups and Japanese corporate partners.
• Take ownership of internal projects and portfolio support.
• Engage with entrepreneurs and the innovation community.
• Source and evaluate venture investments.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required; STEM or MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, or corporate development.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with executives.
• Business-level fluency in Japanese is required.
• Experience working with Japanese corporations is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
