Hoffnungsträger Stiftung is looking for an Investment Officer to manage its capital market portfolio. This role involves strategic asset management, risk analysis, and overseeing external asset managers. What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee the foundation’s liquid assets for sustainable returns
  • Develop and refine investment strategies in line with portfolio goals
  • Select and monitor diverse asset classes like stocks and bonds
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and risk management
  • Oversee external asset managers and advisors
  • Prepare transparent reports on risk and performance

What You Need

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar
  • Relevant further education (e.g., CFA, CIIA) is a plus
  • Several years of experience in portfolio management or institutional asset management
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial markets
  • Knowledge of foundation and non-profit law is desirable
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain trustworthiness
  • Alignment with Christian values and the foundation’s vision
