Investment Professional, Venture Capital & Co-Investments

GEM is looking for a senior investment professional to join their team in San Francisco. This role involves leading their venture capital secondaries and co-investment practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in venture capital and a strong understanding of the technology sector. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities while building relationships across the industry.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the secondaries and co-investment practice at GEM.
• Identify and assess secondary market opportunities.
• Source and evaluate co-investment opportunities.
• Conduct underwriting and due diligence on transactions.
• Build relationships with top-tier venture capital managers.

What You Need

• 10+ years of experience in venture capital or institutional investing.
• Strong knowledge of the technology sector.
• Proven track record in sourcing and underwriting secondaries and co-investments.
• Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance; CFA or MBA preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
