Junior Portfolio Manager, Investing Strategy

Coolabah Capital Investments is looking for a Junior Portfolio Manager to join their Miami team. This role is perfect for someone with a quantitative background who is eager to dive into the world of fixed-income investing. You’ll be working closely with experienced professionals and have the chance to contribute to portfolio performance right from the start.

What You’ll Do

• Generate ideas for investment opportunities in fixed-income assets.
• Conduct deep quantitative analysis of potential investments.
• Build and manage portfolios using quantitative tools.
• Execute trades across various markets.
• Report on portfolio performance and manage risks.
• Support the investment team with your insights and analysis.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of experience in credit markets.
• Strong quantitative skills and modeling capabilities.
• Experience with trading IG credit instruments or interest rates markets.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Track record of high academic achievement in a quantitative discipline.
• Coding experience in Python or R is a plus.
