POSITION SUMMARYÂ
KKR is seeking an experienced investment professional at the Associate level to join its Structured Credit team. The successful candidate will be expected to assist the team with CLO Tranche Investing as well as CLO Structuring and Capital Markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities for the Structured Credit Associate are as follows:
CLO Tranche Investing
- Analyze CLO tranches as part of the investment recommendation process
- Monitor/analyze market and manager performance data, updating CLO Investment team accordingly
- Build and maintain strong dealer relationships (sales, trading, and syndicate)
- Generate trade ideas based on market themes
- Assist the tranche investing team with improving systems and processes
CLO Structuring and Capital Markets
- Assist senior CLO team members with CLO issuance activities (for US and EU platforms)
- Participate in negotiations with transaction counterparties
- Analyze existing CLOs for potential capital market events
- Assist communication with rating agencies on modeling and transaction execution
- Support Product teams with CLO investor management and other client deliverables, including DDQs, RFPs, manager commentaries, etc., in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will bring 3 or more years of CLO structuring experience to the role. In addition, they will meet the following criteria:
- Proficiency in Intex Calc
- Demonstrated knowledge of CLO documentation
- Strong experience in modeling CLOs in Excel
- Solid investing acumen and intuition of risk and relative value

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$150,000—$175,000 USD
