- Flagship Buyout: Investments of $250-500mm+ in North American and Global consumer growth companies and iconic brands.
- Growth: Investments of $10-125mm in North American and European early-to-late stage consumer growth companies.
- Impact: Investments in early-to-late stage impact-oriented consumer growth companies.
- Latin America: Investments of $40-75mm+ in Latin American middle-market consumer growth companies.
- Europe: Investments of €30-80mm in Western European middle-market consumer growth companies.
- Asia: Investments of $25-150mm in Asian consumer growth companies.
- RMB: Investments of ¥30-100mm in Chinese high-growth consumer companies.
- Real Estate: Investments in global mixed-use projects anchored by luxury retail.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program aims to provide undergraduate seniors with an opportunity to further their understanding of consumer investing and the Private Equity industry overall through a week-long, on-site experience.
Program components and responsibilities include:
- Exposure to fundamental investing concepts and skills while deepening your understanding of the consumer industry, the various L Catterton investment strategies, and our categorical investment approach
- Connecting with both senior and junior employees to learn more about their roles, experiences, and diverse backgrounds
- Shadowing Investment Associates to gain exposure to deal processes and portfolio company work
- Working together with your fellow LC Academy participants on a group project to apply what you’ve learned
QUALIFICATIONS
- The LC Academy was created to help under-represented groups in financial services consider a career in Private Equity and is open to those who have accepted an offer to join an investment bank or a consulting firm as a full-time Analyst commencing Summer 2025
- Expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2025
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Outstanding communication skills
- Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and character
- Demonstrated interest in consumer industry is a plus
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.5
- Available to attend the full Program in-person at our headquarters in Greenwich, CT the week of January 6, 2025. Travel accommodations may be provided where necessary.
- Application including resume and personal statement (200-300 words) addressing one of the following two prompts to be submitted in a combined PDF through the L Catterton Website by Sunday, October 6th: What you hope to have accomplished by the end of the Program or Tell us about a formative experience and the impact it had on you.
Program participants will be eligible to receive a $1,500 grant and a $500 charitable donation in their name to a nonprofit organization of their choosing upon successful completion of the Program.
