Lead, Partnerships APAC

OpenAI is looking for a VC Partnerships Lead for the APAC region to help startups adopt and scale their AI products. This role involves building relationships with venture capital funds and accelerators, driving revenue growth, and representing OpenAI at various events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the startup ecosystem and a passion for AI technology.

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage relationships with top venture capital funds and startup partners.
• Drive adoption and revenue growth for OpenAI’s products among early-stage companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support high-potential startups.
• Represent OpenAI at startup events and speaking engagements.
• Gather insights on startup ecosystem trends.
• Advocate for improving the startup experience with OpenAI.

What You Need

• Passion for the startup ecosystem and helping fast-growing companies.
• Experience owning revenue and business outcomes.
• Background as a founder, venture capital investor, or early employee at a startup.
• Technical understanding of AI technologies and products.
• 10+ years managing high-value external relationships.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Experience navigating diverse cultures across the APAC region.
• Professional proficiency in a relevant regional business language is a plus.
