This role involves driving early stage crypto investments and requires a strong understanding of the crypto landscape. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in venture capital and a passion for the crypto industry. You’ll be responsible for identifying investment opportunities and managing relationships within the crypto community.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and evaluate early stage crypto investment opportunities.
- Conduct commercial and legal due diligence on potential investments.
- Stay updated on trends in the crypto market, especially in the US.
- Manage relationships with VCs, founders, and industry players.
- Collaborate with the post-investment team to support portfolio companies.
- Lead PR initiatives to enhance DCG’s brand in the crypto space.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in early stage investing in crypto.
- Strong understanding of venture capital, either as a VC investor or startup operator.
- Demonstrated interest in crypto; experience in fintech/crypto/AI is a plus.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a strong network in the VC and crypto space.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on emerging trends.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
