Manager, Venture Investing – Investing Associate (Commerce & Fintech)

Capital One is looking for a Manager, Venture Investing to join their team in New York. In this role, you’ll focus on sourcing and evaluating investments in fintech and commerce startups. You’ll work closely with internal teams to identify strategic opportunities and help manage a diverse portfolio. What You’ll Do

• Source and develop relationships with tech startups in fintech and commerce
• Manage due diligence and financial analysis for investment opportunities
• Collaborate with Capital One to identify strategic investment areas
• Engage in portfolio monitoring and development
• Mentor team members and promote a positive culture

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, strategy, or technology
• 2+ years in venture capital, corporate development, investment banking, product management, or strategy consulting preferred
• Knowledge of financial services sector and/or fintech, consumer
• Ability to source, evaluate, and execute venture capital transactions
• Strong partnership skills with internal stakeholders
