The Carlyle Group is looking for a Managing Director to join their Investor Relations team as a Senior Product Specialist. This role involves leading fundraising efforts for their Strategic Portfolio Finance and Credit Secondaries strategies. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, managing investor relations, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful fund launches.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage fundraising processes for investment strategies
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies across various vehicles
  • Oversee product development and investor relations responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers on investor communications
  • Manage investor due diligence and closing processes

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, preferably in a Product Specialist role
  • Experience with Credit or Secondary product strategies is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong client management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams
