Internship Program Application – Fall 2023

The Muse Capital Internship Program is a unique opportunity to join a growing venture fund on the ground floor, while getting full-stack exposure to all the different elements of VC.

As a Venture Capital Intern, you will join and support the investment team in meeting founders, evaluating new deals, researching competitive market dynamics, as well as participate in weekly partner meetings to get exposure to portfolio management and all other aspects of venture investing.

You will also be involved in informing the fund’s investment theses, by conducting in-depth research into Muse Capital’s sectors of interest. By identifying key high potential areas of focus, you will also help the investment team in building and identifying an early stage deal flow pipeline within those sectors.

Please note this internship will be unpaid, remote and is set to start ASAP (flexible schedule). The minimum commitment is 3 months.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated passion for technology and startup companies, along with a keen interest in a career in venture. You’re subscribed to the best venture and investor blogs and newsletters.

Your analytical ability is unrivaled – you’re able to ask relevant questions and can handle large amounts of information to extract insights and provide simple, actionable key items. You have strong research skills, along with a solid knowledge of Excel and are able to create and analyze financial models.

You also have excellent written and oral communication skills and are able to produce professional Keynote / Powerpoint presentations.

Lastly, you are a self-starter and a quick learner, who is capable of managing multiple projects in parallel and who has an attention for detail. You are proactive and self motivated, and have a sense of discretion, along with a strong work ethic.

*Experience in various sectors of financial analysis is a plus
*Currently enrolled in university at the undergrad or grad level
