We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual who is passionate about leveraging technology to make a positive impact on the climate and environment. You will contribute significantly to identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities in the Green DeepTech sector collaborating closely with senior partners and executive advisors.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Investment Associate, you will collaborate with our experienced team to identify and evaluate investment prospects. You will also work with entrepreneurs and seasoned advisors across our investment verticals. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends across focus verticals
• Analyse business plans, financials, and technology roadmaps to gauge startup viability
• Engage with founders to understand vision, strategy, and technological differentiators
• Participate in due diligence, including tech assessments, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
• Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance, analytics and resources
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders like founders, co-investors, and industry experts
• Represent the firm at industry events and conferences

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background in engineering, business, finance, or related field
• Demonstrated passion for and understanding of DeepTech domains, preferably within biologics, semiconductors, smart grids or energy
• Prior experience in startups, venture capital/private equity, investment banking, consulting, or similar roles is preferred
• Analytical mindset to assess technical and business aspects
• Excellent communication skills, fostering relationships with founders, co-investors, and experts
• Thrives independently and within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team
• Strong organisational and project management skills for multitasking
