Partner, Investing Partner

Outlander VC is looking for an Investing Partner who has firsthand experience as a founder. This role involves sourcing and evaluating investments, supporting portfolio companies, and leveraging your network to help founders succeed. If you have a strong background in building and leading tech companies, this could be a great opportunity to transition into venture capital.

What You’ll Do

• Find and evaluate promising pre-seed and seed investments across the country.
• Use Outlander’s Founder Framework to identify exceptional founders.
• Lead due diligence and prepare investment memos.
• Support portfolio founders with practical advice and guidance.
• Help founders with fundraising, sales, and team building.

What You Need

• You’ve founded and been the CEO of at least one venture-backed tech company.
• You’ve raised at least two rounds of venture capital totaling $5M or more.
• You’ve built and led a team of at least 10 people across various functions.
• Your company has been revenue-generating for at least three years and survived for four years.
• You’ve experienced the full journey of a founder, from fundraising to scaling.
