Principal, ALM & Portfolio Manager

Apollo Global Management is looking for a Principal, ALM & Portfolio Manager to join their team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing insurance capital for their growing APAC business. You’ll work on pricing new deals, coordinating asset purchases, and monitoring performance. What You’ll Do

• Price new business deals and create asset allocation proposals.
• Coordinate asset purchases and hedge execution for new deals.
• Monitor and optimize existing asset and liability performance.
• Work with teams to discuss pricing and performance of deals.
• Partner with derivatives teams to design and monitor hedges.
• Generate insights from ALM tools and run scenarios.
• Prepare performance reports for management and boards.

What You Need

• Experience with FX and interest rate hedging.
• Strong knowledge of asset-liability management and strategic asset allocation.
• Excellent at managing stakeholders and leading discussions across time zones.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a flexible environment.
• Proficient in using Python and Excel for modeling and analysis.
• 8+ years in insurance ALM management or related fields.
• Professional qualifications like CFA or Actuary designation are a plus.
