This role involves leading M&A advisory and capital raising efforts while establishing the firm’s presence in the lower-middle market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in investment banking and broker-dealer operations, and will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
What You’ll Do
- Help shape and execute the strategy for a new broker-dealer platform.
- Lead M&A advisory and capital markets execution for clients.
- Build relationships with banks and private credit firms.
- Drive business development and grow the firm’s brand.
What You Need
- Must have active FINRA Series 24, 79, and 7 licenses.
- 10+ years in investment banking or related fields.
- Experience in building or leading a broker-dealer or investment bank.
- Strong knowledge of FINRA rules and SEC regulations.
- Proven track record in M&A advisory and capital raising.
- Ability to manage a P&L and build a team.
- Formal credit underwriting training is a plus.
- Established relationships with middle market banks and private credit firms.
