Principal, Fixed Income Investing

Apollo Global Management is looking for a Principal to join their Institutional Client Group, focusing on Fixed Income Replacement. This role involves building relationships with clients, driving asset growth, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fund marketing and investor relations, with a strong focus on U.S. Corporates.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain relationships with clients to grow assets under management.
• Focus on fundraising from U.S. Corporates for Fixed Income Replacement strategies.
• Travel to meet clients and support fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to enhance investor engagement.
• Provide insights for marketing materials and annual meeting content.
• Engage in discussions with institutional investors about direct lending strategies.

What You Need

• 10+ years of experience in Fund Marketing or Investor Relations.
• Strong client and investing experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively, about 80% of the time.
• Deep knowledge of the industry.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
