Principal Investor, Venture Investing

SE Ventures is looking for a Principal Investor to join their Europe investment team. This role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, leading due diligence, and engaging with portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital and a passion for innovative technologies in energy and AI.

What You’ll Do

• Source high-quality investment opportunities across Europe.
• Lead due diligence processes, including market analysis and financial modeling.
• Engage with portfolio companies as a board observer or director.
• Work with Operating Partners to find strategic partnerships.
• Represent SE Ventures at industry events and build relationships.

What You Need

• 3-6 years of investing experience at a top-tier VC or corporate VC in Europe.
• Experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or as a startup founder.
• Strong track record in Series A/B/C software investments, especially in energy tech, industrial tech, and enterprise AI.
• Excellent analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and collaborative, able to work independently.
• Strong academic background.
• Fluent in English.
