Principal, Sustainability Engineering and Data Strategy

Apollo Global Management is looking for a Head of Sustainability Engineering and Data Strategy. This role will focus on integrating sustainability into investment processes and product development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sustainability technology and data strategy, working closely with various teams to provide insights and improve sustainability reporting.

What You’ll Do

What You Need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of technical or analytical experience, with at least 6 years in sustainability technology roles.
• Experience in developing and maintaining large-scale data applications.
• Strong skills in Python and an object-oriented programming language like Java or C/C++.
• Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau, Dash, or Power BI.
• SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and financial instruments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
