Principal, Venture Capital Investing

Connecticut Innovations is looking for a Venture Capital Principal to join their team in New Haven, CT. This role involves supporting their Technology Fund and engaging in all phases of the investment process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology markets and venture capital, and will play a key role in helping early-stage companies grow. What You’ll Do

• Research promising technology markets and investment opportunities
• Conduct due diligence and competitive analysis
• Prepare financial models and investment recommendations
• Support portfolio companies as a board observer
• Represent CI at industry events and develop relationships

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• MBA or master’s degree preferred
• Experience in market research, management consulting, or venture capital
• Work experience in high-growth, early-stage tech companies
• Experience as a Founder is a plus
