Principal, Venture Investing

The Principal role at Alumni Ventures is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in venture capital or related fields. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, leading due diligence, and nurturing relationships within the venture ecosystem. What You’ll Do

• Source and evaluate high-quality investment opportunities.
• Lead due diligence on potential investments and analyze market trends.
• Execute approved investments and maintain alignment with investment strategy.
• Develop and leverage a network of founders and VCs for deal flow.
• Support portfolio companies and monitor their performance.

What You Need

• 7+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or startups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and ability to integrate them into workflows.
