Principal, Ventures Investing

Gold House is looking for an Investment Principal to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, supporting portfolio companies, and building relationships within the startup ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment or venture-backed startups and a passion for technology and community building.

What You’ll Do

• Identify investment opportunities through research and networking.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments.
• Prepare and present investment memos to the investment committee.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic and operational needs.
• Build relationships within the startup ecosystem.
• Manage and scale the Scouts and Fellows programs.

What You Need

• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• 3+ years of investment experience at an early stage or multi-stage fund, or operational experience at a venture-backed startup.
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and organizing industry events.
• Passionate about technology trends and business models.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems quickly.
