Rockbridge makes debt and equity investments in real estate through its various funds, co-investments, and other similar vehicles (“Funds”). Due to the growth of the Rockbridge portfolio and the number of Funds under management, we are seeking a Senior Associate to assist with the oversight of a portfolio of investment funds and support the modeling of fund-level transactions. This role will report to the Vice President of Portfolio Management and function in a highly collaborative environment with significant exposure to senior management as well as other teams at Rockbridge including Portfolio Management – Asset, Capital Markets, and the Investment Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the modeling, due diligence and general transaction support for new investment funds, recapitalizations of existing funds, and other strategic opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models including LP/GP waterfalls to forecast returns and facilitate sound, timely decision making.
- Day-to-day responsibility for monitoring and oversight of 5 – 10 investment funds, including forecasting, liquidity management, loan compliance, and reporting to leadership and investors.
- Assist with ad hoc fund-level initiatives including debt financings.
- Navigate complex legal documents to understand deal structures and enable execution of other Key Responsibilities.
- Support transaction execution, including developing and maintaining presentation materials to support capital raise efforts and transaction closing.
Job Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Financial modeling experience required and exposure to private equity funds strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
- 4-year college degree with outstanding record of academic achievement
- Strong work ethic, analytical ability and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
