Senior Analyst, Valuation

Hamilton Lane is looking for a Senior Analyst in Valuation to join their team. In this role, you’ll be involved in valuing direct equity and credit portfolios, working closely with experienced professionals. You’ll conduct analyses, build financial models, and prepare reports, all while collaborating in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do

• Conduct valuation analyses of illiquid investments across various industries.
• Build and modify financial models for estimating valuations.
• Perform research on securities, industries, and capital markets.
• Review financial statements and transaction documents.
• Prepare clear valuation reports and presentations.
• Support valuation conclusions and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assignments.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in valuation, financial modeling, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
