Senior Associate, Alternative Credit (Residential)

Ares Management is looking for a Senior Associate to join their Residential Credit team in New York. This role involves analyzing investments, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, especially in asset finance and corporate credit, and will thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and underwrite potential investments with detailed financial models.
• Support the team during due diligence and closing processes.

What You Need

• Strong academic background from a top university.
• 5+ years of finance experience, especially in asset finance and corporate credit.
• Experience with residential mortgage products and securitization is a must.
• Prior experience in buyside or investment banking is preferred.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to clearly present investment analyses.
