Senior Associate, CVC Investing

1957 Ventures is looking for a Senior Associate to join their investment team in Riyadh. This role is crucial for supporting the venture investment process, from sourcing startups to conducting due diligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a passion for technology and startups, making a significant impact in the financial services sector.

What You’ll Do

• Identify promising early-stage startups in fintech and adjacent sectors
• Conduct financial analysis and evaluate business models
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee
• Monitor portfolio company performance and engage with founders
• Track global venture capital and fintech trends to shape investment strategy

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration (MBA or CFA preferred)
• Approximately 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or consulting
• Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
• Deep curiosity about startups, technology, and venture investing
• Team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
