Senior Associate, Venture Investments

Paladin Capital Group is looking for a Senior Associate to join their investment team in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. This role involves sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and preparing financial analyses to support investment decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a passion for technology, particularly in the cybersecurity and AI sectors. What You’ll Do

• Source deals and companies by networking and outreach.
• Conduct due diligence and evaluate potential investments.
• Perform in-depth market research to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare presentation materials and information memorandums.
• Build financial models and perform scenario analyses.
• Gather performance information from portfolio companies for reporting.
• Support the investment team during the legal documentation process.
• Attend industry conferences and events to build relationships.

What You Need

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
• A four-year degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Understanding of AI applications in investment processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a good grasp of business and financial concepts.
• Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills for creating presentations.
• Proficient in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
