You’ll be responsible for sourcing deals, leading due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing fund.
What You’ll Do
- Source and build a pipeline of pre-seed and seed-stage industrial DeepTech companies.
- Lead thorough due diligence on potential investments.
- Negotiate deal terms and structure investments.
- Develop expertise in specific sectors and technologies.
- Support portfolio companies and help them grow.
- Contribute to investment decisions and write compelling memos.
- Engage with industry partners and represent the firm at events.
What You Need
- 4-7 years of experience in venture capital or a related field.
- Strong understanding of physical-world technology like materials and energy systems.
- Experience in DeepTech or hard tech investing is preferred.
- A solid network in the European deep tech startup ecosystem.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and ideally German.
- Proactive and independent, able to identify opportunities on your own.
- Ability to make tough decisions and defend your views.
- History of high performance and increasing responsibility.
