Senior Associate, Venture Investing

This role involves working closely with venture partners and entrepreneurs to identify and develop new biotech companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and experience in market analysis. What You’ll Do

• Work with a team to identify and assess new biotech opportunities.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and competitive landscapes.
• Oversee project execution and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Support the formation of new companies through strategic diligence.
• Perform market research to inform investment decisions.
• Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with industry leaders and represent the firm at events.

What You Need

• PhD in biological sciences or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in biotech, pharma, or venture creation.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex scientific and market information.
• Knowledge of the biotech ecosystem and drug development processes.
• Experience with financial modeling and commercial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for developing narratives.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
