Senior Associate, SEC Financial Reporting

Ares Management is looking for a Senior Associate to join their SEC Financial Reporting team. This role involves preparing SEC reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. What You’ll Do

• Prepare and file SEC reports using Workiva
• Ensure accuracy in financial statement disclosures
• Coordinate with external auditors for reviews and audits
• Research new accounting standards and disclosure requirements
• Streamline reporting processes and implement automation

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
• Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) and XBRL preferred
• Exposure to BDCs or investment companies is a plus
• Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
