Alumni Ventures is looking for a Senior Associate to join their investment team in Chicago. This role involves sourcing investment opportunities, managing the investment process, and supporting portfolio management. What You’ll Do

  • Identify and research potential investment strategies.
  • Source investment opportunities by reaching out to VCs and entrepreneurs.
  • Vet potential deals that fit the investment mandate.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Partner and other teams on presentations.
  • Develop investment memos and manage the investment process.
  • Support existing portfolio companies and monitor investments.

What You Need

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in consulting, banking, private equity, or startups.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools or platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or Midjourney.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate AI tools to improve workflows.
