Senior Associate, Venture Investing

Isogon Ventures is looking for a Senior Associate to join their team in New York. This role involves sourcing and evaluating early-stage investments in industrial technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital or related fields and a passion for supporting founders. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm.

What You’ll Do

• Source and manage a pipeline of Series A opportunities in industrial technology.
• Build relationships with founders, angels, and co-investors.
• Represent Isogon at industry events and conferences.
• Conduct market analysis and technical diligence on potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the team.
• Support portfolio founders in accessing Isogon’s network.
• Contribute to firm-building activities as the platform grows.

What You Need

• 3-8 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, or investment banking.
• Passion for startups and belief in the startup ecosystem.
• Ability to evaluate technical products and engage with engineers and founders.
• Experience with financial modeling and investment analysis.
• Strong relationship-building skills and proactive sourcing abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
