Senior Associate, Credit Secondaries Investing

Ares Management is looking for a motivated professional to join their Credit Secondaries investment team in London as a Vice President or Senior Associate. In this role, you’ll evaluate investment opportunities, lead transaction teams, and manage the closing process. You’ll also have the chance to build a network in the industry and assist with portfolio analytics.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct thorough due diligence.
• Lead transaction teams and manage junior team members’ work.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to committees.
• Oversee the closing process and legal documentation.
• Build a network in the credit secondaries industry through various events.
• Assist in portfolio analytics and fund performance monitoring.

What You Need

• 5+ years of experience in Credit Lending, Direct Lending, or Secondary Investing.
• Strong academic background and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Solid modeling and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
• Team player who works well with both senior and junior colleagues.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
