Montcalm is looking for a Senior Investment Associate to join their team in San Francisco. This role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, particularly in private markets and impact-aligned strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment research and a passion for finance that aligns with human well-being.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support due diligence on alternative investments.
• Conduct analysis of managers, fund structures, and performance.
• Maintain relationships with fund managers and partners.
• Collaborate on new investment products and structures.
• Assist with thematic research on markets and trends.

What You Need

• 3–6 years of experience in investment research or private markets.
• Experience evaluating private market strategies or alternative investments.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling proficiency.
• Ability to prepare due diligence materials and investment memos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity and a strong interest in finance and human well-being.
