Senior, Liquid Credit

Ares Management is looking for a Senior Credit Trader to join their liquid credit trading team in New York. In this role, you’ll focus on trading bank loans and high yield bonds while collaborating with portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities. What You’ll Do

• Trade bank loans, high yield bonds, and distressed securities.
• Work closely with portfolio managers to generate trade ideas.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; master’s degree or CFA is a plus.
• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in trading or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of credit fundamentals and market technicals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a trading environment.
• Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
