The ideal candidate will have experience in venture capital or related fields and be comfortable using AI tools to enhance their work. What You’ll Do
- Source and evaluate Seed-stage investment opportunities in Japan and Asia.
- Build relationships with founders and ecosystem participants.
- Conduct initial screenings and investment evaluations.
- Support full diligence processes with US-based teams.
- Maintain relationships with portfolio companies and support founders post-investment.
What You Need
- 3-8+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or consulting.
- Knowledge of the Japanese startup ecosystem is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate early-stage businesses.
- Fluency with AI tools for research and analysis.
