Sr. Associate, U.S. Real Estate Logistics Asset Management

Ares Management is looking for a Senior Associate to join their U.S. Real Estate Logistics Asset Management team. In this role, you’ll be involved in managing a portfolio of industrial assets, conducting market research, and negotiating leases. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of properties and assist in budgeting and strategic planning. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in asset management and leasing.

What You’ll Do

• Help manage and operate regional industrial assets.
• Conduct market research to spot trends and opportunities.
• Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with tenants.
• Oversee third-party leasing teams and vendor relationships.
• Assist in managing capital expenditures and construction oversight.
• Support the budget process and strategic planning for the portfolio.
• Participate in due diligence for acquisitions.
• Ensure accurate and timely management reporting on the portfolio.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in asset management preferred.
• Leasing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage transactional details effectively.
• Experience with budgeting, Yardi, and Excel is preferred.
• Must be able to manage relationships with internal and external parties.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
