Sr. Associate, Structured Products – Credit Investing

Ares Management is looking for a Sr. Associate or Vice President to join their Structured Products team. This role involves creating and maintaining financial models for private structured deals and supporting the analytics needs of the team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Intex and Python, and will work closely with portfolio managers and other teams to ensure effective risk management and data analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain models for private structured deals.
• Compile monthly updates for collateral and deal information.
• Support risk and analytics needs for the team.
• Collaborate with other teams to build analytics platforms.
• Develop and test cashflows and risk metrics for securitization.
• Build relationships with portfolio managers and operational teams.

What You Need

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• 3+ years of experience with Intexwrap and Intex Dealmaker.
• 4+ years of model development experience in Python.
• 3+ years of experience modeling structured deal waterfalls in Intex.
• Basic understanding of financial mathematics concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with GIT and cloud applications is a plus.
