This internship offers a unique blend of product building and venture capital exposure, focusing on creating AI tools to enhance investment processes. You’ll work closely with the investment team, helping to identify promising startups and founders while gaining valuable experience in the venture capital space.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build an AI-powered sourcing tool for the investment team
- Work with investors to understand their workflows and challenges
- Attend events to identify emerging founders and technologies
- Conduct calls with founders and support deal diligence
- Contribute research to help shape investment strategies
- Represent M13 in technical communities
What You Need
- Currently enrolled as a full-time rising undergraduate senior or graduate student
- Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and emerging AI technology
- Technical mindset, with coding or product experience
- Ability to drive projects from concept to execution
- Comfort engaging with technical founders
- Familiarity with AI-native development tools
- Strong networks in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Curiosity and a team-oriented mindset
