As a Portfolio Cybersecurity Technical Advisor at Blackstone, you’ll work closely with company leaders to enhance their cybersecurity posture. You’ll be involved in crisis management, advising on investments, and sharing best practices across a diverse portfolio of companies.
What You’ll Do
- Drive cybersecurity improvements across various companies in the portfolio.
- Advise senior executives on cybersecurity best practices.
- Lead crisis response efforts and manage cybersecurity risks.
- Assess investment opportunities in cybersecurity companies.
- Provide briefings on cybersecurity practices to company leaders.
- Collaborate with third parties on ongoing cybersecurity initiatives.
What You Need
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles, both hands-on and advisory.
- Experience discussing cybersecurity topics with both technical and non-technical people.
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Experience in incident response, whether technical or in a leadership role.
- Ability to work with data using tools like SQL and Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; M.S. is a plus.
