Responsibilities
- Dive deep into data analytics for thorough investment due diligence, balancing swift execution with meticulous analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Partner strategically with portfolio company executives, driving data-led initiatives for growth and efficiency from concept to completion.
- Lead in developing and implementing data-centric strategies and tools, enhancing our investment processes and supporting our deal teams.
- Provide critical support in live due diligence, translating complex data into comprehensive analysis under tight deadlines.
- Develop insightful tools and data products to refine our investment process.
- Oversee value creation projects in portfolio companies, from strategy to execution.
- Engage in sophisticated data analysis, including feature engineering and analytics.
- Cleanse, integrate, and interrogate diverse datasets to unearth unique insights.
- Conduct rigorous hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and modeling.

Qualifications
Education & Certificates
- College degree, required
- Masters or PhD in STEM field, preferred
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3-6 years of direct Data Science experience, required
- Experience in commercial consulting, investment banking, or client-oriented roles is advantageous.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for public presentation and storytelling.

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
