ATEL Capital Group is looking for a Vice President/Director, Venture Debt Originator to join their team in San Francisco. This role involves sourcing, structuring, and closing venture debt transactions for high-growth technology and life sciences companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture debt and a network within the venture ecosystem, allowing them to operate with autonomy and make a significant impact.

What You’ll Do

• Find and develop venture debt opportunities through relationships
• Structure and negotiate financing solutions for clients
• Manage transactions from start to finish
• Build lasting relationships with founders and venture capitalists

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• Experience in originating venture debt or similar growth-stage financing
• Strong understanding of capital structures for venture-backed companies
• Proven ability to source and close transactions independently
