Venture Developer, Venture Strategy

BigCircle Ventures is looking for a Venture Developer to help create and grow new cleantech ventures. This role involves sourcing and selecting promising inventions, negotiating agreements, and onboarding teams. What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with venture partners to create and grow new ventures.
• Source inventions by building relationships with universities and researchers.
• Select promising inventions based on their potential.
• Support negotiations with universities and researchers.
• Onboard venture teams and share insights about technology and markets.
• Coordinate the process from sourcing to onboarding.
• Grow your network and expertise in the field.

What You Need

• You want to make a positive impact and believe in technology’s power.
• You have a scientific degree in a relevant field like materials, engineering, or energy sciences.
• You have significant experience in startups, venture capital, or consulting.
• You have a growing network in academia or climate startups.
• You are hands-on, a self-starter, and enjoy collaboration.
• You are fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• You live near Amsterdam for regular office collaboration.
