Vice President, Commercial Finance (Underwriter)

Ares Management is looking for a Vice President in Commercial Finance to join their team as an Underwriter. In this role, you’ll be responsible for closing new transactions, conducting due diligence, and structuring loans. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and provide creative financing solutions to clients. What You’ll Do

• Evaluate risk factors and structure transactions

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 3+ years as a credit officer or underwriter, ideally in asset-based lending
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and leveraged lending
• Ability to analyze financial statements and cash flow
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
