Vice President, Data Strategy & Sustainability

Oaktree Capital Management is looking for a Vice President of Data Strategy in Sustainability. This role involves leading data and reporting initiatives to enhance sustainability efforts across the firm. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure data quality and drive insights that support investment decisions. What You’ll Do

• Lead the strategy and execution of sustainability data and reporting initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to use data to advance sustainability priorities.
• Manage relationships with third-party ESG data providers.

What You Need

• 7-10 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of investment concepts and market dynamics.
• Experience in sustainability or ESG functions is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and data providers.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into insights.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
